What ImageCompat is
ImageCompat checks an image against common size, file type, crop, transparency, and resolution rules for a selected platform.
The goal is simple: help you understand whether an image looks ready, needs a small change, or is likely to cause problems.
What it is not
ImageCompat is not an image editor, design suite, file converter, or guarantee that a platform will accept every image.
Platforms can change their rules, compress uploads, or crop images differently across devices. ImageCompat gives practical guidance, not a promise.
How privacy fits in
Image checks happen locally in your browser where possible. ImageCompat does not upload your image to a server for analysis.
